As a Seventh-day Adventist community, our faith is built upon fundamental beliefs that shape our understanding of God, His word, and our mission in the world. These beliefs are the cornerstone of our teachings and practices:
- The Holy Scriptures: We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word, revealing God’s character, His will for humanity, and the way of salvation. It is the supreme source of truth and the standard for all beliefs and practices.
- The Trinity: We believe in the eternal Godhead—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—united in love and divine perfection. Each possesses individual characteristics but acts in perfect harmony in the great work of redemption.
- The Great Controversy: Our beliefs acknowledge an ongoing cosmic conflict between good and evil, focusing on the character of God, His law, and His sovereignty. This conflict is revealed in the history of humanity and will ultimately be resolved in God’s triumph.
- The Person of Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and is now our High Priest and Advocate in heaven.
- Salvation by Grace: We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, offering salvation to all who accept Him as Lord and Savior. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through faith, leading to a transformed life.
- The Sabbath: We honor the seventh-day Sabbath as a day of rest, worship, and fellowship, following the biblical pattern of rest established by God after Creation.
- The Second Coming of Christ: We believe in the imminent, visible return of Jesus Christ to complete His redemptive work and establish His eternal kingdom.
- The Ministry of Reconciliation: As disciples of Christ, we are called to share the everlasting gospel through word and action, embodying God’s love and serving the needs of others.
These fundamental beliefs guide our worship, lifestyle, and mission. We are committed to studying, living, and sharing these truths as we await the blessed hope of Christ’s return.
If you share these beliefs or are curious to learn more, we invite you to join us on this journey of faith, understanding, and service.
